Thanx to brilliant mind of mr Alexander Bagration-Davidoff and my collaboration with Pinadze, we can achieve several key objectives:
By drawing inspiration from the frescoes of Georgian churches, we seek to preserve and celebrate the rich artistic and spiritual heritage of Georgia.
Transforming traditional religious art into modern decorative items, such as pins, allows us to make these cultural symbols be more accessible to a wider audience. This way, individuals can connect with a magic of heritage in a personal and tangible way, evoking a sense of protection, guidance, and spiritual comfort for those who wear or use the pieces.
This project also allows me to explore new artistic expressions by merging traditional iconography with contemporary design, creating a dialogue between the past and the present.

The aim of the InnovaComix event in Lugano this year was to foster innovation and creativity in the realms of comics, gaming, and digital storytelling. The event focused on bringing together creators, industry professionals, and enthusiasts to explore the latest trends, technologies, and artistic expressions within these fields.

Irakli Charkvianis Tribute Albom design and Track
With Loving Memory
Irakli Charkviani’s music, revered by youth, remains in high demand, prompting Bravo Records and Georgia's Ministry of Culture to release The Best of King. This CD includes 11 hits and 5 previously unreleased tracks—three restored from tape, a remix of KAIA by David Machavariani, and a new collaboration with Kakhaber Tsiskaridze.
Irakli Charkviani was a Georgian poet, writer, and public figure known for his contributions to contemporary Georgian literature. Born in 1969, he gained prominence in the 1990s and became recognized for his unique voice and style, blending traditional and modern themes in his work.

Illustrations for an edition of the Georgian epic poem “The Knight in the Panther’s Skin” (Georgian: ვეფხისტყაოსანი), drawn by Georgian artist Datto Machavariani and published by Bakur Sulakauri Publishing House in 2011.

Despite the monochrome medium, Matchavariani’s detailed crosshatching captures both the grandeur and intimate moments of the story. The absence of color draws attention to the fine lines and textures, emphasizing the characters' expressions, the intricate Georgian patterns, and the medieval settings. Through these powerful, classical-style illustrations, Matchavariani bridges Rustaveli's medieval world with a contemporary audience, preserving the poem’s cultural heritage while infusing it with a modern visual style.
